My Retro has decided to take a day trip to Brighton this Sunday.  I'll have a stall at Frock Me! which will be at the Corn Exchange in Brighton.  If you fancy a vintage trip to the seaside see you there!

It's come around fast.  Don't worry though as there is one last chance to visit 'All I Want for Xmas' - the Brick Lane all in one shopping venue.  My Retro will have a stall in the Vintage Pop Up Market from Friday to Sunday.  You'll find us on the 1st floor, entrance from 15 Hanbury Street or 81-85 Brick Lane (London, E1).  See you there!!

My Retro is taking part in an amazing Christmas shopping special event this weekend.  All I Want for Xmas is a four-week event leading up to Christmas, it's going to feature vintage, craft, one-offs and designer items.  It's taking place at 91 Brick Lane this Fri-Sun and then each weekend after up to Xmas.  Click here for all the details.  As well as selling my retro finds I'm getting all my shopping done there too!  See you there.

Good news - from today (for a limited time) postage for all UK orders will be just £1 per item!!!  Regardless of size or shape!  There is good news for my international customers too, orders to anywhere in Europe will be £5 and orders to anywhere else in the world will be just £7.  Good huh!  Happy buying and remember Christmas is just around the corner so you can get your retro chums some retro goodies for Xmas.

This weekend - 6th to 8th November is the last vintage pop-up market :( Pop by if you can, I've got lots of new goodies.  I've stocked up on all my lovely warm winter things.  See you there hopefully.  Same place - The Boiler House, 152 Brick Lane, London. (Algate East & Liverpool St. are the nearest stations).

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday (16th-18th October) I'll be at The Boiler House, 152 Brick Lane, London for the 3-day Vintage Pop-up market.  Come along between 11-6pm Friday & Saturday and 10-5pm on Sunday.  There are approximately 30 stalls including me selling all sorts of lovely vintage things.  I have all my winter things ready including lots of faux-fur coats and lots of 80's glam.  I'll be there again the following week too (23-25th) if you can't make it.  Hope to see you there!

Saturday 3rd October - Brixton.  This market is part of the launch weekend at a new venue - 'The Rest is Noise'.  It's at 442 Brixton Road, Brixton, London, SW9 8EJ.  The market will run from 12-6pm.

Sunday 4th October - New Cross.  This will be at the Amersham Arms, 388 New Cross Road, London, SE14 6TY (Opposite New Cross station).  The market will run from 1-7pm.

I've uncovered some gems today.   I think they'll all be coming with me this weekend (details of the market to follow soon)   I've gone all 80's and I have a Madonna esq bra complete with jewels!   An amazing bright pink body con dress and some great red vintage shoes which are just so beautiful I want to keep them.....   Maybe see you at the weekend but keep an eye on the site as I'll be adding more soon. x

Day one of the My Retro Blog!   I thought it would be nice to bring you little snippets of info on what lovely things I've found, what's coming up on the site and also a chance for me to tell you all where I'll be.   I'm still going to be at markets around London so if you fancy seeing some more of my vintage and retro finds you can come along and see me in person.

This weekend I was at a great little quite bazaar market, it had a couple of positives - it started at midday and involved spending the afternoon in a pub!   'A Little Bazaar' showcases some great 'crafty' people making all sorts of lovely clever things plus there are us secondhand and vintage sellers too.   We were at the Keston Lodge, Upper Street, Islington, North London.   I'll keep you updated with new dates - it certainly makes for a nice arvo out.
